A Note from the Creator
I am a Witch. I also have a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and currently working on my graduate degree with a focus on Prison Reform. During my years in college, I was surprised to learn just how many Pagans and Wiccans are behind bars. I was also surprised to learn about the difficulty they have in obtaining the same religious and spiritual access that other inmates receive who are followers of mainstream religions. For the past four years I have been providing spiritual guidance and friendship to many Wiccan and Pagan inmates behind bars and have learned a lot about their struggles, both spiritually and personally. I decided to become a Pagan Outreach Minister to assist in providing spiritual support and helping inmates receive resources and access to Pagan and Wiccan educational materials such as reliable online teaching programs, access to books and magazines as well as assisting them in obtaining access to legal resources in their state regarding religious discrimination if they need it. I also assist them with guidance in obtaining resources for work and education upon release. Furthermore, I am also a listening ear and a positive mentor.
